About the Author

Stacy Morse is a certified teacher who earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Stephens College. She has taught students from preschool to high school, as well as being an adjunct professor. Stacy earned a Master of Arts in Human Development and Family Studies, with an emphasis in Public Policy, from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She served as the administrator of virtual education for the state education department. Stacy also worked in the Missouri Senate for a decade and was the first female chief of staff to the Minority Floor Leader. She has been a guest speaker at colleges and advocacy groups and has served as president of her neighborhood association for many years.

Ms. Morse’s family has rescued many dogs, including Roscoe, who resided in St. Louis with her brother, John. Stacy lives in Missouri with her two rescued Beagles and hopes children learn how to be better citizens through reading her books. She is member of the Society for Children’s Illustrators and Authors.


Aleksandra Hadji-Naumova Atanasovska is a visual artist and illustrator, living and working in Skopje, North Macedonia. She is a classically trained painter who also specializes in handmade paper. She has had many solo exhibitions, at home and abroad, but in recent years she is focused on her passion, Illustrating for children. She has provided artworks for a number of children’s magazines, along with illustrating and designing many children’s books. Aleksandra and her husband love animals, and they share their home with a rescued dog and a rescued cat.


About the Narrator

Christian Stoner is an accomplished voice actor, narrator, and natural storyteller. She is known for her ability to paint a picture with words in a way that is especially compelling for children. Christian loves the adventure of reading and storytelling, and her greatest joy is watching children discover the power of a great story. When not narrating or storytelling, Christian enjoys classic movies, music, crafting, baking, and spending time outdoors with her family!
